In the Hemel & Aarde Valley, overlooking the Bosdam, this addition to an existing stone cottage, sought to establish a connection to the powerful surroundings through a series of courtyards and framed views of the landscape.
The language is a contemporary interpretation of a rural typology of pitched roofs and punctured walls. A sense of comfort, simplicity and family life shaped the interior architecture.
